Customized Plan Design
Vision plans can be customized so that members either pay no out-of-pocket expense or a fixed co-pay are paid to the provider when services are rendered. If members exceed their plan’s allowance with a in-network provider, they simply pay the difference. Members have the option to receive an examination with one provider and obtain corrective materials from a different provider. Programs can also allow members to receive benefits from out-of-network providers. If a comprehensive programs can’t be offered, programs offering discounts for vision services are available.
