Sean Rafferty graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN in 1992 with a BA degree in Human Resources and Marketing. Upon graduation, he started working in the Pharmaceutical Industry with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Louisville, KY. Sean ascended from a Field Sales Representative and, through a series of three promotions, became a District Sales Manager. Then Sean worked at Novartis Pharmaceuticals in a Sales Representative and management capacity. In 2012 Sean started with Humana Inc. as a Worksite Voluntary Benefits Specialist in the Kentucky marketplace and was promoted to National Worksite Voluntary Benefits Strategic Consultant in 2014.

In 2018, Sean joined National Benefit Partners as a Vice President of Business Development. In his role, he is responsible for identifying and securing potential Allied Distributor clients and managing those relationships.
